In order to understand the relation between the superstructure stiffness and uneven settlement in bottom frame masonry housing, ANSYS was used to build the 3-D model of a real house. Changing superstructure elasticity modulus, three different conditions were conducted. Through subsidence of columns bottom analysis, it was found that the subsidence of columns bottom had a certain relationship with superstructure elasticity modulus. The decrease of uneven settlement is obvious by improving the stiffness of the wall of the second floor, but it is not the case with other floors.
