    Abstract:

The response surface method and an Improved Nondominate Sorting Genetic Algorithm(NSGA-II) were applied to optimize suspension structural parameters. The design parameters' sensitivity was analyzed by ADAMS/Insight.And then, for the greater sensitivity of design parameters, a second-order response surface approximate model ,which explicitly expresses the approximate relationship between the design parameters and the wheel alignment parameters maximum variation in the wheel beating, was established. Finally, the model's stability was analyized and the improved NSGA-II with an elitist preserve strategy and removing duplicates individual algorithm were used to solve the multi-objective optimization problem. The optimization results indicate that these methods have high accuracy and validity.
