    • Critical Load Calculation of High-pier and Pile Groups System

      2011, 38(8):1-6.

      Abstract (889) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (83) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Aiming at the effect of piles-soil interaction on high pier stability, this paper, based on the equal force- effect principle, substituted pile foundation to a "pier-style + level spring" mode to simulate that effect, then a critical load calculation method considering the pier- piles-soil system under the vertical load was developed. And to validate the method proposed, an engineering example was illustrated. The calculation results have shown that this method is reasonable. Finally, based on the example and formula, the effect of pier stiffness and height changes on the system stability was analyzed, and the results have shown that the pier stiffness and height are two important performances to the system. Structure buckling is not a material damage problem, but has an optimal stiffness and length ratio in high pier and pile foundation system, which makes every part of the structure work in coordination.

      2011, 38(8):7-12.

      Abstract (1247) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (70) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:For the folded line type three-dimensional (3D) trussed arches, four arrangement styles of cables in the arch plane were presented. The static and stability property of the pretensioned 3D trussed arch in those four arrangement styles was studied. The numerical results including the decrease in structural displacement, the initial tensile force of cables, the reduction in horizontal reaction force, the uniformity of distribution of member forces and the improvement of structural stability were compared with those of the corresponding 3D-trussed arch, and it has been shown that the mechanical properties of the arch can be greatly improved with the arrangement style where the struts and cables were arranged according to the buckling shape of the arch subjected to the ultimate load. In addition, the analysis results of the instability modes of the pretensioned 3D-trussed arch indicate that the global deformation of the arch can be controlled effectively by introducing struts to the prestressing system.

      2011, 38(8):13-18.

      Abstract (1008) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (74) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Based on the HHT (Hilbert-Huang Transform), the ChebyshevⅠtype filter was adopted to process the measured free vibration signal to solve the mode-mixing problem, so that all the structural modes could be acquired from IMFs. Meanwhile, removing endpoints were used during the linear least-square fit procedure to avoid the endpoint effect. Besides obtaining the modal frequencies and damping ratios, the formulation of mode shapes of proportional-damping structure was also derived. The simulation results of 4-NDOF numerical case and 4-NDOF frame structure in the laboratory have demonstrated that the proposed approach is accurate and effective.

      Abstract (1092) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (67) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:This paper studied how to achieve hybrid electric vehicle's electric mode and engine mode switching smoothly. The main principle is the same driving torque. This paper proposed a new algorithm for the motor torque to achieve it. According to velocity and throttle and CVT's ratio, this algorithm obtains engine pseudo-target speed. According to engine output characteristics and throttle opening and engine speed,we got the engine output torque. And then we derived the motor output torque. Simulation results have shown that before and after mode switching, the vehicle drive torque is basically the same. It has been proved that the algorithm can achieve the smoothness of mode switching.

    • Nonlinear Resonance Response Analysis of a Kind of Passive Isolation System with Quasi-zero Stiffness

      2011, 38(8):34-39.

      Abstract (1040) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (74) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The negative stiffness properties of a mechanism and the quasi-zero stiffness properties of a vibration isolation system of the mechanism after being merged into the linear main spring were analyzed. The main harmonic, sub-harmonic and super- harmonic resonance amplitude-frequency response expressions of passive isolation system with quasi zero stiffness were derived. The results have shown that the negative stiffness region broadens as the ratio of the initial deformation of the spring to the length of the bar increases. The quasi-zero stiffness region of the vibration isolation system broadens as the ratio of the stiffness of the main spring to the total stiffness of the spring in the mechanism and the ratio of the initial deformation of the spring to the length of the bar in the mechanism increase. Compared with the amplitude-frequency characteristics of Duffing equation, the corresponding harmonic response amplitude-frequency characteristics of the passive vibration isolation system demonstrate great deviation. To the motion differential equations of this kind of passive isolation system, there is comparatively larger deviation when the product of the displacement exciting amplitude and the square of exciting frequency replace the exciting force amplitude of unit quality as the solution of Duffing equation.

      2011, 38(8):67-70.

      Abstract (1040) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (65) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Based on the fourth-order anisotropic diffusion LLT model for image denoising, we have proposed a modified fixed point iterative algorithm. The proposed algorithm uses the steepest descent direction as the search direction in order to avoid computing directly the inverse matrices, thus reducing the roundoff error and improving the convergence rate. The convergence of the algorithm has been proved with the spectrum of matrix. Experiment results have illustrated that, for the “Lena” image which is corrupted with the noise of standard variance σ=15, the signal to noise ratio (SNR) by our algorithm is improved greatly from SNR=11.208 8 to SNR=16.511 1 .

    • Investigation on Nonmonotone Conjugate Gradient Algorithm with Three Parameters

      2011, 38(8):71-75.

      Abstract (784) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (66) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Though conjugate gradient methods are easy to be implemented in a computer for solving an unconstrained optimization problem, it is difficult to establish the theory of global convergence. To overcome this difficulty,a new conjugate gradient algorithm was investigated. In this algorithm, the search direction is constructed to be involved with three parameters, which are suitably chosen such that the obtained direction is always sufficiently descent one of the objective function, independent of any line search strategy. On basis of this direction, a nonmonotone conjugate gradient algorithm with three parameters is developed for solving unconstrained optimization problems. Under some mild assumptions, the global convergence theorem of this algorithm is proved. Preliminary numerical experiments demonstrate that the developed algorithm is more effective than the similar algorithms.

      2011, 38(8):88-92.

      Abstract (859) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (72) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Using Logistic regression, this article sampled 209 companies involved in fraud and 5436 ones not involved from 2003 to 2007, and checked the corporate governance factors that impact the selection of auditors. The results have shown that the relationship between the proportion of independent directors and the selection of high-quality auditors in fraud companies is inverse U shape and that in samples not involved in fraud the relationship between ownership concentration and the selection of high-quality auditors is inverse U shape. In conclusion, the selection of auditors should be handed to the board of auditors, consisting of independent board members, and in order to guarantee a fine ownership structure, the share reform should continue.
