Abstract:The load transfer mechanism of big-diameter rock-socketed pile was studied based on the rock-socketed pile static load test report of Mishui River Bridge, by conducting situ experiments. Based on the analysis of data from conducting situ experiments of the pile, the pile top load displacement curve was obtained, as well as the relationship of resistance size of rock surrounding the pile with displacement and the share ratio of pile side and end resistance, etc. The research results show that the friction resistance of pile body is influenced not only by limit friction resistance but also by normal stress. The value of limit side resistance provided by the prospecting report is smaller. The socketed section bears most of the pile top load, and the friction of socketed section plays the leading role, for the performance of the friction pile.In the process of loading, the proportion of the side of pile soil resistance decreaseds gradually, while socketed section total resistance increases gradually, and finally tends to be stable.

Abstract:An evaluation procedure was proposed for buildings adjacent to excavation by taking the settlements, inclinations and damage coefficients of buildings as typical indexes. Interval theory was used to describe the randomness of these above indexes. For the representativeness of these indexes, the settlements and inclinations of buildings were calculated by finite element simulation, and the damage coefficients were introduced to reflect the damage states of buildings. Four membership functions of S-type were proposed for the fuzziness of evaluation standards. Super weight method of real numbers was introduced and improved to interval numbers for the characteristics of building risks. Application results have shown that there are deviations among the risk grades judged respectively by these three indexes, but the risk grades synthetically judged correspond with the measured results approximately.

Abstract:A numerical model for dynamic soil-raft foundation interaction was developed by using the thin layered element method, and the dynamic response of irregularly shaped raft foundation subjected to inclined SH wave excitation was studied. L-shaped foundations and C-shaped foundations were considered. The results have shown that, when subjected to a non-vertically incident SH wave, with the increase of frequency as well as the increase of incident angle, the horizontal response decreases in a certain frequency range. And the torsional response is also generated. The irregularity of raft foundation has a great effect on the horizontal response. The trends are different in L-shaped foundations and C-shaped foundations, due to the different positions of the hole. The effects of the irregularity of raft foundation on the torsional response are very little in low-frequency region, but are great for the C-shaped foundations in high-frequency region.

Abstract:Considering the effect of target period on reliability, the reliability adjustment coefficient γa was proposed in this paper, and the limit state criteria for safety evaluation of existing steel structure was established. By comparing different load reduction factor calculation method, the equal exceeding probability method was chosen and the load reduction factor of the different target periods of following service was obtained. Based on the checking point method, the reliability index of steel structure member with different target periods of following service was obtained. The result has shown that the proposed formula meet the requirements of target reliability index. According to the different satisfaction degrees of target reliability index, the classification criterion of the steel members was proposed and the limit value of parameter was given for the safe classes of structure and member importance.
Abstract:The relationship between wet-dry cycles and chloride diffusion coefficient was investigated by using four different concretes. Abstract:A new method for the use of methanol in IC engine was proposed. Methanol was evaporated into vapor by IC engine exhaust heat and used as gas fuel. This concept was applied to both naturally aspirated engine and turbocharged engine. By comparing the two schemes with the original gasoline engine, the improvement potentials of power performances and fuel economy of new concepts can be predicted. The results have shown that, when naturally aspirated engine is fueled with methanol vapor, power has a slight decline with the maximum of 7.1%, and thermal efficiency has a slight increase with the maximum of 3.0 percentage points; when turbocharged engine is fueled with methanol vapor, the power performance and fuel economy have a great improvement over both the original gasoline engine and methanol vapor engine. At the boost pressure of 1.5 bar, the maximum improvement of thermal efficiency comes up to 4.0 percentage points. All these can prove that it is a useful concept for IC engine energy conservation.

Abstract:Orthogonal variable transmission ratio face gear drive is a new kind of gear transmission. The equation of the pitch curve, addendum curve and dedendum curve of face gear were established on the basis of spatial transformation relations and principles of gear. The parametric equation of tooth surface of the face gear was obtained by combining the parametric equation of cutter's tooth surface and conjugate tooth profiles theory. The calculation method of tooth width was derived on the basis of root cutting and tapering conditions. The space trajectory of the tool in the machining process was analyzed and the parametric design and machining simulation system of orthogonal variable transmission ratio face gear were developed on the basis of the environment of VB and Solidworks (API). Finally, experimental study was carried out on the orthogonal variable transmission ratio face gear pair to verify the validity and feasibility of the theoretical derivation and parametric design and machining simulation of the variable transmission ratio face gear pair.

Abstract:When the ink penetration in paper was ignored, the single color solid print was treated as a multilayer structure. It was made by the superposition of multiple layers, which were solid ink layer, paper layer, paper-air interface layer, ink-air interface layer, etc. Taking into consideration the translucency of paper and the non-optical contact between the paper and the background, this paper established a color prediction model for single color solid prints. Firstly, the multilayer structure of single color solid prints was described and the transfer equations of light fluxes traveling between different layers were listed. Secondly, by making use of the spectral reflectance measurements of single color solid prints with different backgrounds, the optical parameters of the paper layer and the solid ink layer were fitted out. Lastly, the spectral reflectance of single color solid prints was predicted with other backgrounds. The predicted color differences of all samples according to the CIEDE2000 were smaller than 2 in experiments, which means that the proposed model can accurately predict the color of single color solid prints without measuring the refractive index of papers and inks as long as the adequate number of opaque backgrounds can be provided.

Abstract:A distribution network reconfiguration algorithm based on heuristic rules and harmony search algorithm (HSA) was proposed. At first, the codification strategy based on the reconstruction loops was adopted according to the characteristics of distribution network reconfiguration and HSA. Then, several special branch groups were constructed and several disconnecting rules were set to avoid the infeasible solutions. Furthermore, the initial network was analyzed with the objective function for the minimization of power loss, and the effective search space of each loop was shrunk by using heuristic rules. Finally, the harmony search algorithm was used to search the global optimal solution. Using the proposed method, the number of candidate solutions can be reduced greatly, the optimal solution can be achieved rapidly, and the search performance will not be worse with the expansion of the network. The simulation results of IEEE typical examples have verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
Abstract:The symmetrical components method was used to obtain the Resistance- Capacitance parameters formula of the SemihexTM-connection single phase motors on the basis of the static equivalent circuit of the three-phase generator, and then the optimization calculation was carried out. The instant mathematic model of the motors under the α-β coordinate system was established, and the correspondent program was written to simulate the motor' Resistance- Capacitance breaking process with a ventilator load. The result has shown that this breaking method suits various types of load, especially those with a feature of friction damp or light and permanent torque.

Abstract:This paper investigated the discharging mechanism of dry-type transformer by analyzing the outside insulation surface electric-field distribution of a 10kV epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer. Firstly, the 2-D finite element model was established, and on this basis the surface electric-field distributions were analyzed under two operating environments of the dry outside insulation surface and the external insulation surface with wetting layer. The results have indicated that the local electric-field density of external insulation surface rises nearly ten times compared with the dry external surface, which is easy to cause the creeping discharging phenomenon and poses a threat to external insulation. A type of low surface energy coating was used on the transformer to prevent the surface discharging phenomenon, and the electric-field distribution was analyzed when the coating surface was covered with dispersed water drops. Compared with the above results, it is obvious that the surface electric-field density decreases eighty percent, which can effectively increase the life of the epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer.

Abstract:HeLa cells treated with 4.8%(V%)ethanol for 12h was used as the oxidative damage model to study the intervention of oxidative damage cells with resveratrol (RES). Varied technologies were used for analysis, such as MTT assay, flow cytometry, biochemical analysis and real time PCR et al. After the addition of RES for 24 h, the morphology of most cells was recovered, the survival rate was improved, the content of MDA was decreased from 3.56nmol/mgprot to 1.42nmol/mgprot, the T-SOD activity was increased from 61.62U/mgprot to 87.78U/mgprot and the expression of OGG1 and SIRT1 was up-regulated 2-4 times. The results indicated that RES could repair ethanol-induced oxidative damage probably by reducing MDA, improving T-SOD activity and up-regulating expression of OGG1 and SIRT1. This study can provide a theoretical basis for the application of RES.

Abstract:Oil from Chlorella minutissima was used to separate and purify eicxcosapentanoic acid (EPA) by using high-speed countercurrent chromatography (HSCCC) combined with evaporative light-scattering detection (ELSD). The optimal 2-phase solvent system for separation of EPA by HSCCC was acetonitrile-heptane-acetic acid-methanol (5∶4∶1∶1, V/V/V/V). The main experiments were determined and optimized by response surface methodology (RSM). The best conditions with flow-rate at 3.0 mL/min, revolution speed at 913 r/min, and column temperature at 21 °C were obtained. Under these conditions, 75 mg EPA with a purity of 99.44% was obtained from 500 mg oil by HSCCC, as detected by HPLC combined with ELSD.

Abstract:Soil erosion is one of the major environmental problems affecting people's survival, and the exploration of the effect of land use type on soil labile organic carbon is of significance to regional soil environment protection under the condition of soil erosion. A typical area of red soil hilly region was selected as the research site. Integrating outdoor sampling with indoor analysis, this paper studied the effect of land use type of red soil hilly region on distribution of soil labile organic carbon properties under the condition of soil erosion. The result has shown 1) land use type affects the labile organic carbon of the surface soil. There is a significant difference in the content of labile organic carbon in the 0-5 cm soil layer, but it is almost the same in the sub-layers; 2) Land use type has a great impact on the content of labile organic carbon in different poisitions of eroded land and the difference of labile organic carbon content in erosion area is higher than in deposition area; and, 3) the vertical distributions of soil labile organic carbon are basically the same among the different land use types, and the difference in surface is big, and increasingly small with the increase of soil depth.

Abstract:The start-up tests and micro-ecological conditions of treating cyanobacteria in the Taihu Lake by an anaerobic baffled reactor (ABR) filled with soft filler have been studied. The results showed that, under the following conditions of dosing seed sludge, continuous operation by improving the load by steps after 40 days, the cyanobacteria could be successfully processed. In the process of start-up, the COD (chemical oxygen demand) removing rate was about 75%, and the gas production rate was about 65.9mL/L.d. In addition, the reduction rate of microcystins reached 90%. The soft filler played a key role in treating cyanobacteria successfully by the improved Anaerobic Baffle Reactor. It was found that the soft filler had function in forming biofilm and training granular sludge in the reactor. In addition, it is beneficial in promoting the more reasonable space distribution of the microbial communities in the compartments. The protease content of the granular sludge in ABR decreased and coenzyme F420 content increased progressively along separation chambers. It is consistent with the quantity of archaea and bacteria along the separation chambers in the reactor.

Abstract:Inspired from the clonal selection mechanism of immune systems and the theory of the cloud model, a chaos clonal selection algorithm based on cloud model was proposed to improve the algorithm. Firstly, the algorithm adopts chaos initialization to generate the initial population in order to improve the quality of initial antibodies. Secondly, the algorithm employs the basic normal cloud generator to achieve antibodies mutation operation in order to improve the diversity of antibodies. Finally, the simulation test of classical function and the parameters tuning of time-delay system with active-disturbance-rejection controller shows that the algorithm can search for the best solution more quickly. Its precision is higher and its stability is better than the CSA, GA and PSO.

Abstract:Packet loss rate is one of the basic network performance metrics. However, current measurement methods conflict with measuring precision and costs. A self-adaptive sampling based loss rate measurement method was proposed in this paper. By utilizing the characteristics of delay-loss correlation and loss-loss correlation, it dynamically adjusts probing period adaptively, under the indications of larger delay samples and loss events in measuring process on burst losses. Consequently, it improves the measuring accuracy without the dramatic increase of probing costs. Simulation results have shown that a good trade-off is obtained in this method. When compared with ping, it gets much lower errors with a minor increase of probing costs; and compared with BADABING, the errors are similar, but it greatly decreases probing costs.
Abstract:In order to promote the application of soft sets theory, the lattice structures of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets were studied. Firstly, the concept of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets was introduced, and some operations and some of their algebraic properties of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets were given. Then, the lattice structures of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets were discussed with four intersections and union operations. Finally, two lattice structures of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets were obtained, and it is proved that the two lattices are bounded distributive lattices.
